David Lilley MA BA (Hons) LLCM ALCM
David Lilley graduated from Durham University in July 2000 with first class honours.
In 2002 David joined the team of Dorridge Music School teaching part-time while completing an MA before
coming a full time member of staff in 2003. Now Head of Piano Department (Which has over 150 students per week)
David teaches Piano, Keyboard and Music Theory to Diploma level and runs the GCSE Courses
Andrew Teal PG Cert BMus (Hons)
Graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Birmingham Conservatoire.
Has taught at DMS since September 2002
Peter Mears
Third Year Student at the Birmingham Conservatoire. In demand as a pianist and accompanist
Alan Latham
A professional musician playing in bands and backing Cabaret for over 30 years makes Alan more than
qualified and experienced to be in charge of our Drum Department (Currently teaching 120 students weekly). Dorridge
Music School is now in its 3rd of funning the drum & keyboard tuition at Knowle CofE Junior + Infant school of which
Alan is our representative teacher.
Alex Dengate BA (Hons)
Teaches drums, saxophone and vocals. Recently finished degree at Coventry University.

Teaches flute and piano. Just finished her degree at Coventry University

Teaches flute. About to start a four year course at the Birmingham Conservatoire

Adam is an accomplished performing musician currently studying Classical & Acoustic Guitar at
the Birmingham Conservatoire

Kirsty Davis
Head of Vocals & Musical Theatre. Kirsty worked in the West End playing 'Cosette' in the musical
Les Miserable and has much experiences in performance & teaching
Lucy Timkova
Lucy has worked as a music teacher in Slovakia teaching Piano. She has joined us at Dorridge
Music School working as a cover teacher teaching Piano, Keyboard and Electronic Organ
Adelle Hall - Office Manager Adelle has been a student at Dorridge Music School for 10years learning electronic organ. She therefore has the knowledge of the school, how it operates and the teaching structure and accredited courses used.
Caroline Barlow, also a long term student at DMS. She has just passed Grade 5 Organ, took her GCSE Music through the school and learns drums with us.
Sian Butler has recently joing the 'Office Girls' being trained by Adelle at present. Sian is another student of ours and is learning organ at Grade 5 level plus Classical Guitar
Sylvia Hughes joined Dorridge Music School around 7 years ago in a class learning the keyboard. She has now moved on to organ and works for us in the office.
